As a certifying SCUBA and freediving instructor, John’s mission is to train his students to become self-sufficient and autonomous divers, able to make dives with a trained buddy in conditions and to depths similar in which they were trained. Once students are certified, they will be able to maintain the goal of executing dives comfortably, without instruction, until they are ready to further their training to the next level. As humans, we know more about outer space and other galaxies than we do about our own oceans. Together, we’ll get to explore and observe all that the sea has to offer - who knows what we’ll stumble upon?
As a private SCUBA instructor, John emphasizes his willingness to work around your schedule, always works at your pace, and devotes his full attention to you during your lesson. He believes in doing more than just checking off boxes and going through the usual motions of training. Instead, John tailors his classes to focus on safety, student confidence, and getting each new diver to be more independent by the end of the course.
