John Bradley Phillips was born in upstate NY in 1990. He has spent part of every year in Palm Beach County since he was seven years old and moved here permanently after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in 2013. While working some odd jobs and exploring different possibilities for career paths, he met his mentor who suggested he take a SCUBA class and see if a profession in blowing bubbles and instructing divers would suit him. He put his face in the water once under the direct supervision of a PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer at the Blue Heron Bridge and he was instantly enchanted and hooked on the sport! He followed the path of many of his relatives into the education industry while also getting to pursue his passion for diving.
Since his Open Water course in 2014, John has been accumulating thousands of dives and dozens of training accolades and is now a PADI Instructor Development Course Staff Instructor. He is also an SDI Open Water SCUBA Instructor, an Emergency First Response CPR, First Aid, and AED Instructor, as well as a DAN Diving Emergency Provider Management Instructor, and formerly an SSI Advanced Open Water Instructor. With these credentials, he can introduce you to diving with a Discover SCUBA Diving or Try Diving course, all the way through the professional ratings of Divemaster. John can also teach you how to safely explore the reefs or find your deepest depths on one breath with the PFI Freediver course or the PADI Freediver course. Thanks but no tanks!
