REFRESHER TO SCUBA DIVE IN FLORIDA

Description

The Refresher SCUBA diving course is designed for divers who have not been diving for a year or more. Many sea divers only dive once a year or maybe a few times a year because that is what their lifestyle allows. There’s nothing wrong with that! However, we have seen it far too often when sea divers come on a boat and have not been in the water for a year or more and they forget their fundamentals and the most important rules of safety involved with the sport. We urge these divers to take this course with our instructor John and refresh their skills and memory before diving without professional accompaniment.

Instructional

The academic work required ahead of time will depend on previous experience and amount of time since your last dive. Because of this, it’s best for these students to contact our instructor, John. Together, you and John will come to a mutual agreement about what’s necessary to regain your confidence and independence as a diver.

Equipment/Gear

Your instructor John will provide all the basic SCUBA gear you’ll use during your dive including:
• Regulator
• Buoyancy control device (BCD)
• Submersible Pressure Gauge and Computer
• SCUBA Cylinder
• Weights
• Wetsuit

OPEN WATER CERTIFICTION REFERRAL

Description

Referral courses are very popular in South Florida. Perhaps you have started your certification in the north where open water diving is not as beautiful or warm as our diving in Palm Beach. Fortunately, you don’t have to finish in the quarry or the lake! Why not do your classroom and pool training with your local PADI or SDI shop and finish here in sunny West Palm Beach? Your instructor can send you with a training record of what you have completed with them which I can then use to complete your certification. Another situation where this course is used is if the weather where you first started turned sour or perhaps you were unable to finish your course because of a common cold, etc. John has accommodated these situations before and is happy to finish your course with you!

Instructional

First, we’ll start off with a Quick Review Quiz to test your memory. Following this, we’ll finish the course! It may be necessary to do more pool training or we may be able to jump right in the ocean. This will all depend on what you’ve already accomplished with your previous instructor.

Equipment/Gear

Our Instructor John will provide all the basic SCUBA gear you’ll use during your dive including:
• Regulator
• Buoyancy control device (BCD)
• Submersible Pressure Gauge and Computer
• SCUBA Cylinder
• Weights
• Wetsuit
