Freediving is a great way to experience the underwater world more freely. This type of diving is done without any type of breathing apparatus. Instead you simply hold your breath until returning to the surface. You’ll learn to control your breathing for maximum air supply. Without having a ton of SCUBA gear to lug around, all you have to worry about is enjoying your exploration under the sea. Many divers do not understand the importance of a certification in Freediving until they take a course. While the sport is reasonably safe, it is only safe once you learn the proper techniques to extend your breath hold, equalize your ears, and, most importantly, safetying your buddy.
